She has facilitated several diversity workshops with government agencies, service providers and non-profit institutions. Animwaa is a change manager with the Prosci® change management certification. She has a PhD from the University of Calgary where she studied sociology with a focus on racism, ethnicity, inclusion, exclusion, migration and transnationalism.
She was a sessional instructor at the University of Calgary where she taught about race and ethnicity. Additionally, she has international experience from Ghana where she was a teaching and research assistant at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
When she is not working, she will be on medium, this and that with Dr. Animwaa, blogging or on podcast and youtube with the same name.
